The GPS Pulse is a simple to install replacement for the
traditional speed sensor paddlewheel used on most boats.

If you have a boat then you will know of the frustration when
your paddle wheel gets clogged, and fails to work. Pulling the
transducer out or going in the water to clean it is a chore most
boat owners have to do on regular bases.

The GPS Pulse removes the need for a paddle wheel altogether. It
uses speed over the ground information and converts it into
paddlewheel pulses. It can be used to directly replace most
paddlewheel transducers.

Because you now have your true speed over the ground, rather
than speed through the water you have a more accurate indication of
your progress.

The GPS Pulse comes in a small simple to install package that
connects directly to your existing boat speed display. It also
outputs standard GPS information in NMEA 0183 format for connection
to repeater displays, data loggers or charting software.
